This project uses Pathagar - a book server that runs on Python Django - and runs it on SheevaPlug plug computer while drawing 4 watts!
Pathagar serves a book catalog using the Open Publication and Distribution Specification (OPDS) XML format, and then uses HTTP to serve the requested book. The data is stored in a sqlite database. This particular project runs on Debian.
The SheevaPlug platform consumes under 5 watts of power running a ARM pocessor. All the content and the operating system run off a USB stick.
