SF State now runs several of its web sites on Drupal including its main portal. To that end, a group of developers, administrators and educators get together once a month and discuss common approaches, bottlenecks and work on creating a common pool of resources - both code and know-how - to provide better services using the Drupal platform.
Drupal is a Free and Open Source content management system that is used all over the world to run web sites such as The White House, Harvard University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, FedEx, and The Grateful Dead
