Congrats to "MedLink," an app developed at SF State's Hackathon that was featured at a White House event. MedLink provides reliable information about the availability of medical supplies and services in developing nations. Special congrats to the SF State students who participated in the MedLink project: Suri Samson, Mikhail Selitrin and Daniel Aranibar. Daniel had registered to be on the hackathon, but Suri and Mikhail dropped by to help with registration and set up, but got pulled into the team! Talk about curiousity. I cannot express how thrilled I am to see my students not only step up to the challenge, but that their team made it to the White House! We must be doing *something* right :-)
