UX by the Bay

UX / DataViz by the Bay brings scientists and artists together to focus on the intersection of data and user experience. UX is about simplifying complex problems for the user. At the same time, our ability to capture data continues to grow at a rapid pace. How do we as a group of data scientists and experience designers wrangle massive amounts of data and turn it into actionable information not just for ourselves and our end user? At UX by the Bay we aim to explore bleeding edge concepts like dynamic experiences, adaptive difficulty, data visualization, and quantifying behavior.

UX designers, researchers, and strategists in addition to product managers, visual designers, and data scientists

Any topic that discusses data and its impact on a user’s experience, either from the product development side or the end user’s side. It might include practical tactics in distilling data into its most important parts, or conceptual strategies in how data could impact future design.
