Call for Local Challenges - San Francisco Day of Civic Hacking 2014

Call for Local Challenges!

Interested in framing a challenge for the community to work on? Are there issues in your community that data, technology and entrepreneurship could help to address?

Submit your local challenge
http://hackathon.sfsu.edu/challenges

Theme: Education and Health Care

A good challenge:
* Is related to an ongoing problem which your organization works on.
* Has context and is relevant to the community.
* Has an understandable impact. How many people would benefit if the problem was solved? Which organization(s) would use the solution?
* Has data (but not required). What data would help solve this problem? Is it publicly available?

Examples of Previous challenges:
* Helping Peace Corps Volunteers map the natural, infrastructure, and skill resources within their communities.
* Linking Patients to the Medical Supplies and Services They Need, When They Need Them
* A Different Path for Teen Mothers
